One might be tempted to use GPS to coordinate mobile robots in outdoor scenarios, as receivers are cheap and easy to interface. Most receivers are advertised to be accurate down to 2 meters. However, after some long term observations we found them to be much less accurate. In this short text, we detail our findings.
